Born Into Music
Shon Kornfeld has lived and breathed music his entire life. As the son of Artie Kornfeld—legendary producer, songwriter, and co-creator of the Woodstock festival—Shon grew up immersed in the culture, creativity, and energy that defined a generation of music. That perspective has given him a lifelong appreciation for instruments as more than tools; they are vehicles for storytelling, expression, and connection.
Years of Experience, Player-First Design
Shon brings over 25 years of direct industry experience, having worked closely with players at some of the most respected names in the guitar world, including Suhr Guitars, Strandberg Guitars, and G&L / BBE Sound. Through those years, he spent countless hours spec’ing out guitars with clients—listening carefully to what they wanted and refining instruments around their needs. The Studio Series SK is a continuation of that work: a guitar designed from the ground up with the player’s perspective front and center.
