At any given time Kevin can be found designing, building, spraying and doing just about everything around shop at Iconic Guitars. As the founder and Chief builder, Kevin brings his unique experience as an electrician, a background in engineering management and extensive manufacturing expertise to the forefront when creating the most amazing playing and sounding guitars available.

Despite all that, those who know Kevin would argue that his most valuable skill is bringing together and empowering individuals whom have mastered their disciplines and, when combined, equal a team of unparalleled talent, experience and know-how.

John Cruz joins Iconic Guitars with over 40 years of profound experience in instrument building. Over 30 years were spent at one of the largest musical instrument manufacturers, where he advanced to Senior Master Builder, crafting guitars for numerous iconic artists.

John's own background as a gigging musician deeply enriches his understanding of instrument design. Post-tenure, he launched John Cruz Custom Guitars, continuing to hone his art and collaborate with international builders. His decision to partner with Kevin and Iconic was clear: "It was an easy decision to want to be a part of the Iconic family. We have the same mindset of bringing the absolute best custom guitars to the world."

Born into a musical family, Shon is the son of legendary Woodstock Festival creator, Artie Kornfeld, and has continued the family tradition of making waves in the music industry. He has over 25 years experience working with some of the most revered guitar companies in Southern California.

Shon has produced and released several albums with songs placed in TV shows, movies, and video games. His background in database design, combined with his passion for music and instruments, makes him a valuable team member.

Roxanne has been a touring and recording musician for the past 13 years, playing shows across the States and throughout Europe. As the head of our Artist Relations Department, she knows the balance between performance and promotion. She brings the experience to develop and nurture relationships with our current artists, as well as to research and discover artists who mirror the vision and commitment to excellence we have at Iconic Guitars.

Rob brings to the Iconic core team a wide and deep set of skills gained over many years of building his own guitars. His work is meticulous and his vast experience can be seen on every instrument he touches. Consistently delivering the utmost quality and precision is day after day is a rare quality, and for this guy it is the only way.

Playing in bands since the age of 16, Scottie “Mad Dog” Blinn describes his head-rush heartland music as Border Blues and Soul. “I’ve always come from a Blues root, and the music has evolved from our original So Cal ‘grease punk’ sound to include a heavy Latin vibe: deeply rooted Blues that’s a cross between Lightnin’ Hopkins, Tom Waits, Tito and Tarantula, and Social Distortion.” Scott came to the Iconic family a while back, as an Iconic Artist (he owns Iconic #0010!) and later joined the core builder’s team as a shaper, buffer, and finisher.
