Designed to blend classic vintage character with a smoother, less harsh and more balanced modern sound, the revolution JM pairs alnico 2 magnets with the neck pickup and alnico 5 magnets with the bride pickup. The overwound bridge pickup restores some of the low end we feel is missing from a vintage JM pickup and helps balance it more uniformly with the neck pickup which you’ll find to be warm and clear with tons of vintage character. We use poly wire for a modern twist and maximum versatility. Also available in J90 versions (P90 design in a JM housing) The J90 version is a bit less refined adding some extra grittiness for awesome medium to high gain applications.
